Our story
Comfort, intimacy and a living connection to Kerala.
Whispering Kera is a stylish guest house with spacious, comfortable rooms surrounded by the greenery of the Poovar backwaters. A large garden welcomes you at the entrance, while the swimming pool offers a cool pause at any hour.
Set back from traffic, the homestay sits among more than forty coconut trees—keram in Malayalam—along with fruit trees, vegetables, birds and local wildlife.

The guest house was created through a meeting of European and Kerala perspectives. That spirit remains in the warm welcome, homemade food and thoughtful support guests receive before and throughout their stay in English, Malayalam and Tamil.
